 Harish Raichandani

Harish brings an interesting combination of people and practicality. His entrepreneurial perspective of the HR profession is founded on an unshakeable belief in people and is supported by his in-depth understanding of Operations, Organizational dynamics and a Systems approach. Over 25 years of experience across multiple industries (Engineering, Manufacturing, Telecom, IT, ITES & Consulting) provided him opportunities to learn & contribute significantly at various stages of the maturity curve —from small start-ups to well established multinationals.

As an OD consultant he has made several notable contributions towards enhancing ‘Leadership Quotient’, improving ‘Managerial Effectiveness’, shaping ‘High-performance Culture’, etc. Besides being a T-group trainer, he has facilitated innumerable programs focusing on Team Building, Dyadic Relations, Employee Engagement, Collaborative Working, Creating Culture of choice etc. During his service career and thereafter as a consultant he has contributed to Quality, BPR, PCMM, 6-Sigma, Business Excellence and Business Ethics initiatives.

He is the first and (perhaps) only Indian to be certified in the full track of Appreciative Inquiry by NTL; He’s also a certified practitioner of ECR – an extremely effective emotional intelligence tool used widely across the world. Other professional passions include LSIP, Generative Collaboration and Executive Coaching. He leverages a healthy mix of structured interventions and unstructured experiences to ensure training/ consulting hastens the process of learning for the participants.

He has written several HR case studies and is writing a book on HR practices in India. He is the creator of the ‘Potentia framework for HR competencies’.

The intermingling of Harish’s work, hobbies and passion have led him to professional memberships of organizations such as NTL, ISABS, NHRDN and the International OD Network. Teaching, his other hobby, brings him close to students, as a visiting faculty for MBA curriculum at IIM Ahmadabad and VJIM. He is currently on the board of ISABS (Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Sciences).

Harish lives in Hyderabad (India), loves chess, travel, swimming and scuba diving. His wife is a kindergarten teacher. Their two student sons pursue Engineering & 11th grade.
